Summary

The Human Resources Manager guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company. The Human Resources Managers originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide3 an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.

Duties
  • Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, culture and attitudinal development, performance appraisals and quality management issues
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
  • Manage and develop direct reporting staff
  • Manag and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
  • Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of HR strategy and performance in cooperation with the executive team
  • Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
  • Manage and oversee the activities within the General Affairs and Safety departments

  • Familiar with OSHA Regulations
  • HRIS Systems - knowledge and experience of HRIS Systems (preferred ADP)
  • Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as work processing, excel, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Education, Experience, Certifications

4 year college degree in related field

Three (3) years experience in office setting in a leadership role

SHRM or HRCI certification

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements

Work is performed within Dongwon facilities in an office attached to a production environment which is dusty, dirty, greasy, and noisy
