Job summary

Oklahoma Heart Hospital, L.L.C. is seeking a Manager of Health Information Management to lead the HIM department, ensuring accurate health records, compliance with state and regulatory standards, and strong team supervision. The role supports hospital staff and physicians in delivering high-quality cardiac care.

Applicants should have a B.S. in HIM (or similar) and RHIA/RHIT certification, plus several years in hospital HIM with leadership experience. Headquarters are in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in HIM is required.
• RHIA or RHIT certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years hospital health information experience; 2 years supervisory experience.

Manager- HIM

Shift: Full-Time Days/ Partially Remote. Some days will require in person availability.

Position is NOT 100% remote

Location: 7800 NW 85th Terrace, OKC OK 73132

Responsibilities

This professional management position will plan, organize, implement, actuate and control all functions of the HIM departments as well as be the resource and support person for the hospital and medical staff in regard to health information. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agency and State Health Department standards and regulations, and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

Education: B.S. in Health Information Management, or Associates degree in HIM.

Licensure/Certification: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years hospital health information experience, two (2) years of supervisory experience. Must have been involved in a State Department of Health licensure survey.
