Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to help fill a Temp to Perm Global Trade Compliance Manager role.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience with HTS classification, semiconductors, manufacturing, and importing is required; certification as a customs broker is preferred.
• Expertise in foreign and domestic trade practices, logistics, and international law.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 8-10 years' experience in global trade compliance roles.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the company's compliance with all international laws and regulations regarding global trade requirements.
2. Manage a team of compliance officers and trade specialists to determine the best business practices for smooth international trade.
3. Review trade and shipping documents, communicate with manufacturers, submit paperwork for trade licenses and sales agreements, and file appeals.
