Sr. Manager, Global Sports Marketing - Events

Location:

Remote

The Role

The Global Events Manager - Trail will shape and execute HOKA’s sports marketing strategy to amplify brand initiatives and create extraordinary consumer experiences. This includes leading trail event partnerships like Western States and UTMB, and participant activations that enhance brand storytelling and engagement across global markets (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, SEA, China, Japan).

The ideal candidate is experienced in global event marketing, with a strong understanding of the trail event landscape, partnership management, and collaboration within complex organizations. This role requires innovation, self-direction, and excellent communication skills to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Your Impact
  • Manage global trail partnerships, including branding, activation, licensed products, seeding, and digital content.
  • Develop and oversee the global trail partnership strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and measurable results.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to plan and execute integrated projects.
  • Manage budgets, invoices, and payments, ensuring compliance with internal processes and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (40-50%).
  • Experience in event management, contract negotiations, cross-functional alignment, budget management, project management, tour management, B2B partnerships, social media.
  • Ability to relate to athlete communities and translate content for media and promotion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; English required, French a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience in global organizations, cross-cultural agility, trend awareness, innovation, team leadership, and multitasking in fast-paced environments.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000, determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
