Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an experienced leader to oversee enterprise gift administration, ensuring accurate processing, donor intent alignment, and regulatory compliance. You will establish service standards and quality controls to support timely gift entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

You will partner with Finance to maintain controls, generate reports, and manage CRM-driven campaigns and fund administration.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of advancement services, gift administration, finance, or accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of gift processing, financial controls, and nonprofit compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise gift administration operations, including gift intake, CRM processing, adjustments, reconciliation, documentation, and financial controls.
  • Develop policies, procedures, quality assurance standards, and service level expectations with Data staff.
  • Serve as primary liaison with Finance regarding reconciliation, audits, fund administration, and gift compliance.
  • Produce and maintain Pledge Aging reports for review with fundraisers to assess risk and write off needs.
  • Oversee funds, campaigns, and appeals creation in CRM for accurate and timely entry of gifts.
  • Monitor workload, staffing, service levels, and departmental performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and operational quality.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop gift administration staff.

Performance Expectations
  • Achieve enterprise service standards for gift processing accuracy and turnaround.
  • Maintain compliance with gift acceptance policies, audit requirements, and financial controls.
  • Deliver timely reconciliation and reporting in partnership with Finance.

Experience
  • 5+ years of advancement services, gift administration, finance, or accounting experience.
