Manager, Form Fabrication and Engineering
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are currently seeking a Manager, Form Fabrication and Engineering who will serve as a hands‑on leader in form fabrication and design, actively supporting shop‑floor activities while collaborating cross‑functionally and contributing to projects across North America. This person will lead evaluation and adoption of emerging forming technologies by investigating new equipment, materials, and processes, collaborating with Process Engineering to assess feasibility, pilot trials, and implement solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance. The role also manages salaried and hourly employees in the form‑making process from approved engineering drawing through release to Production for casting, ensuring on‑time delivery of wood, metal, rubber, and polystyrene forms that meet quality specifications.
This role directly works with the entire Shapes team to continually evaluate and improve production processes, design guidelines, and reduce waste.
