Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization required and maintain current.
• Two (2) years experience in food service operations.
• Computer and software proficiency.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred.
• CDM credential must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordinating, directing and controlling the day to day operation of food services, including scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and production.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state and other regulatory agencies.
• Serve as a culinary resource and ensure safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department.
• Support budgetary requirements and compliance with HACCP guidelines, department policies and procedures.

Performs duties necessary for optimal patient care, including the safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department, budgetary requirements and compliance to HACCP guidelines, department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization required and maintain current.
• Two (2) years experience in food service operations. Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Computer and software proficiency
• Certificate in Culinary Arts from an accredited Culinary Institute preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential must be obtained within 6 months of hire date required.
