Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization required and maintain current.
• Two years experience in food service operations. Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts from an accredited Culinary Institute preferred.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, direct and control day-to-day food service operations.
• Handle scheduling, purchasing, inventory and production.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and other regulatory agencies.
• Serve as a culinary resource for the department.
• Ensure food safety and efficiency in food preparation and HACCP compliance.
