Job summary

Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas, part of the Prime Healthcare family, is seeking a dedicated food service teammate to support patient care and hospital operations. You will prepare and deliver patient trays, service the cafeteria, work on tray lines, stock storage, and maintain a clean environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and County-specific Food Handlers certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

• Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
