Company Overview

BrightSpring Home Based Primary Care owns and operates various entities in Primary Care, including a Medical Services company, a Population Health Management services company, and a Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP). Under the direction of the General Manager, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager supports these entities, providing high-quality financial and analytical support to meet business needs and objectives.

The primary focus will be supporting the Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP), collaborating with clinical and operations staff on initiatives such as quality improvement, reporting, clinical informatics, and strategic models to optimize services across all lines of business.

Responsibilities
  • Update, validate, and communicate the impact of strategic operational changes to senior management and company operations regularly.
  • Develop, improve, and manage KPI & Analytical Models/Reports; visualize reports through Excel, PowerBI, or other tools.
  • Prepare forecasting and recasting analyses, audit data, model assumptions, and validate with leadership.
  • Build pro formas for growth decisions and tracking tools post-implementation.
  • Assist in developing strategic presentations for budgets, MOR, sales, and operational changes.
  • Support member reconciliation, Part D recon, LIS tracking, rebate tracking, claim subrogation, and reinsurance claims.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings, actuarial reports, annual audits, and other engagements.
  • Advise management on budgeting objectives and processes.
  • Manage the budgeting process, gathering all necessary inputs and assumptions.
  • Prepare monthly accounting entries and analyze P&L statements with variance explanations.
  • Collaborate with management and auditors to assess risks and develop controls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • At least five years of progressive financial experience, ideally in managed care, Medicare/Medicaid, or health insurance.
  • Experience in a regulated environment supporting government reporting with high integrity and accuracy.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Expertise in data analytics, Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Travel up to 20% may be required.
