Overview

BrightSpring Home Based Primary Care owns and operates various entities in Primary Care including a Medical Services company, Population Health Management services company, and a Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP). Under the direction of the General Manager, the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is responsible for supporting these entities with high-quality financial and analytical support to meet business needs and objectives.

The primary focus will be supporting the Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP), collaborating with clinical and operations staff on initiatives such as quality improvement, reporting, clinical informatics, and strategic models to optimize services across all lines of business.

Responsibilities
  1. Update, validate, and communicate the impact of strategic operational changes to senior management and company operations.
  2. Develop, improve, and manage KPI & analytical reports, including visualization through Excel, PowerBI, or other tools.
  3. Prepare forecasting and recasting analyses, audit data, model assumptions, and collaborate with leadership for validation.
  4. Build pro formas for growth decisions and track their implementation.
  5. Assist in developing strategic presentations for budgets, MOR, sales, and operational changes.
  6. Support member reconciliation, Part D, LIS, rebate tracking, claim subrogation, and reinsurance claims.
  7. Prepare statutory filings, actuarial needs, audits, and support audit engagements.
  8. Advise management on budgeting objectives and process development.
  9. Manage the budgeting process, including gathering inputs and assumptions.
  10. Prepare monthly accounting entries and analyze P&L statements with variance explanations.
  11. Assess financial, operational, and compliance risks with management and develop controls.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.
  • Five or more years of progressive financial experience, preferably in managed care or health insurance.
  • Experience in a regulated environment supporting government reporting with high integrity standards.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and multi-project management.
  • Expertise in data analytics, Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Adaptable, approachable, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Travel up to 20% may be required.
