Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director to lead transaction advisory and financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients across the US, including Dallas. You will manage teams, assess risks, and deliver integrated due‑diligence services with a focus on GAAP, tax implications, and deal value.

The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top firm.
• CPA or in the process of obtaining one.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
• Lead the team in conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with senior members.
• Oversee all aspects of deals with limited guidance from MDs.
• Identify potential transaction risks and implement strategies.
• Generate a full due diligence report.
• Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
