Job summary

Meta is seeking a Manager, Energy Analytics to lead forecasting models and analytical frameworks for the global data center portfolio. You will grow a distributed team, set standards, and partner with Infrastructure and Finance leadership to shape capacity planning, budgeting, and rate design.

You will own the development of energy usage and cost models, quantify exposure to energy price volatility, and build data pipelines and reporting to scale across the portfolio. 30% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in energy analytics with electric utility, financial institution, energy supplier, or energy-intensive sectors.
• 4+ years of direct people management, including scaling teams.
• Hands-on experience analyzing energy usage data, tariffs, and wholesale market data.
• Experience owning forecasting or analytical models used in budgeting, capacity, or investments.
• Experience building or scaling an analytical capability rather than inheriting one.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and data visualization skills for leadership.
• Experience mentoring analytics professionals and developing team members.
• Experience establishing programmatic approaches and cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to prioritize across competing stakeholder demands and communicate trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a geographically distributed team of energy analysts covering portfolio analytics, cost and rate analysis, and load/ generation forecasting.
• Develop ICs and emerging team leads; establish career pathways and succession depth.
• Set analytical standards, review methodology, document models, and govern assumptions used in financial/capacity decisions.
• Own development and continuous improvement of models forecasting energy usage, generation, and cost; analyze rate impacts.
• Build standardized tooling, data pipelines, and reporting to scale with portfolio growth.
• Consolidate energy data across sources into durable data products with clear ownership.
• Lead monthly/annual summaries of key energy metrics to Global Energy, Infrastructure, Finance, and leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to track design/capacity trends and energy efficiency efforts.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
