Job summary

Meta is seeking a Manager of Energy Analytics to lead a distributed team responsible for forecasting models and analytical frameworks for Meta's global data center portfolio. You will guide capacity planning, budgeting, procurement strategy, and rate design, while setting standards and developing leaders across the energy analytics function.

In this role, you will build scalable data pipelines, quantify exposure to energy price and volume volatility, and partner with Infrastructure and Finance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with energy utilities, financial institutions, or energy-intensive sectors.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience, including growing teams.
• Hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting energy usage data, tariffs, and wholesale market data.
• Experience owning forecasting or analytical models used in budgeting, capacity, or investment decisions.
• Experience building or scaling an analytical capability rather than inheriting one.
• Advanced Excel skills and handling large data sets.
• Strong communication and data visualization skills.
• Experience developing narratives for multiple stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience mentoring analytics professionals and developing team members across career stages.
• Ability to establish programmatic approaches and cross-functional relationships.
• Experience prioritizing competing stakeholder demands and communicating trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a distributed team of energy analysts across data center portfolio analytics and related projects.
• Develop ICs and emerging team leads; establish career pathways and succession depth.
• Set analytical standards: methodology, documentation, version control, assumptions, QA.
• Forecast energy usage, generation, and cost; analyze rate impacts for sites.
• Support development of new rate structures for current and future data centers; explore emerging markets.
• Quantify exposure to energy price and volume volatility; build risk analytics capabilities.
• Build standardized data pipelines, tooling, and reporting to scale the portfolio.
• Consolidate energy data across utilities, markets, and internal sources; ensure data quality.
• Present monthly/annual energy metrics to Global Energy, Infrastructure, and Finance.
