When you join BW Design Group as a Manager, Electrical Engineering P.E., you are joining an ENR ranked AEC firm that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Deliver power distribution and other facilities architecture/engineering electrical design packages for manufacturing clients.
• Use your Power Distribution Expertise to mentor and develop your team.
• Use your knowledge of constructability of proposed solutions.
• Develop strong relationships within the region and the Architecture/Engineering Process Practice.
• Assume responsibility for client development, project profiles, strategic project implementation, and organizational planning and leadership.
• Mentor, nurture, and develop our BW Design Group professionals.
• Develop new electrical engineering engagements and search for new value propositions.
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team.

What You’ll Bring

• 12+ years of architecture/engineering facilities electrical design experience.
• 3+ years of experience as an electrical engineering manager for an AEC or A/E firm.
• Experience acting as Engineering of Record (EOR).
• Experience with the design of low (120V-480V) and medium (2.4kV-35kV) voltage electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with SKM and EasyPower to model electrical power systems and perform necessary studies.
• NEC Proficiency: A strong working knowledge of the NEC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and AEC industry software.
• Solid written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements.
• Bachelor of science in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Professional engineer (PE) license.
• A master’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering management (preferred).
