Responsibilities:

As a BIM Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

• Involvement in all construction phases, including BIM modeling and AutoCAD design.
• Creating BIM models and drawings through all project phases—schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Developing construction documents and all their components, including details and schedules.
• Managing BIM project data sets, workflows, and project setup daily.
• Generating finished electrical design AutoCAD drawings and managing the drawing file storage system.
• Negotiating and pricing all owner change orders while managing project costs by evaluating labor, material, and equipment.
• Forecasting and analyzing electrical construction costs, exposures, and profits through project completion.
• Supervising and mentoring the project team, overseeing field operations, and engineering processes and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and effective time management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a willingness to learn and apply new skills quickly.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
• Extensive experience with BIM, AutoCAD MEP, Revit drafting, design, and modeling.
• Graduation from a technical school or completion of an internship program is preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
