Job summary

Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) seeks a Manager of Educational Programs to lead content strategy, development, and delivery across BCMAS, PACS, and PRC. POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Educational Programs leads content strategy, development, and delivery across ACMA's certification portfolio (BCMAS, PACS, and PRC) and serves as the organization's subject-matter authority on medical affairs, field reimbursement, and prior-authorization education. The role spans instructional design and curriculum ownership, client-facing interactions, webinar and workshop production, PharmD student precepting, thought-leadership marketing content, and data analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Development

• Maintain content, content decisions, and accreditation status with accrediting bodies and joint accreditation providers (IACET, ACCME, ACPE, ANCC)
• Lead quarterly curriculum updates of ACMA's flagship certifications to maintain industry standards and keep regulated content current against changes in law or practice.
• Conceive, scope, and build new certificate programs from needs analysis to launch.
• Manage contracted instructional designers and subject-matter experts through the module development cycle.
• Participate in client interactions, discovery, and needs analysis for organizations engaging ACMA for certification and custom training.
• Field and scope inbound custom-training requests
• Develop custom client curricula and e-modules tailored to a client's regulatory and organizational scope.
• Manage ACMA's webinar calendar from concept through a published content calendar.
• Develop webinar and workshop materials (decks, panel questions, etc) on regulatory and access topics in collaboration with outside subject-matter speakers.
• Recruit, brief, and manage speakers relevant to the webinar or workshop topic.
• Develop speaker prep materials and outreach campaigns.
• Build and review executive-and client-facing presentation decks.
• Review instructional-designer output for visual and instructional quality before content is implemented in the LMS.

Account Management

• Maintain recurring account-management cadence with assigned client accounts.
• Manage learning management system (LMS) course codes, organization, and content.

Subject Matter Expert

• Serve as the internal subject-matter authority on medical affairs and prior authorization content.
• Maintain expertise of subjects for content-related questions and inquiries from learners.
• Partner with external SMEs to validate content
• Lead live program and platform demonstrations for prospective enterprise clients, presenting certification content and the LMS experience to senior client stakeholders.
• Represent ACMA directly in client discovery and follow-up calls, translating client needs into a proposed program scope.

PharmD Precept Program

• Manage ACMA's PharmD student program relationship, coordinating with university faculty partners on rotation structure, learning objectives, and student assignments.
• Precept 2–4 P4 PharmD APPE students per rotation cycle, assigning and supervising work.
• Deliver onboarding, orientation calls, and ongoing mentorship.

Data Analysis

• Design and field market-research instruments (e.g., surveys, advisory boards) and translate results for business development and content.
• Analyze client-specific operational data (e.g., prior-authorization volume) to support proposal development for new business lines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Deep subject-matter expertise in medical affairs, field reimbursement, prior authorization, and pharmaceutical credentialing.
• Demonstrated experience (1-2 years) in curriculum development and instructional design for accredited or certificate-based professional education.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
