Job summary

United Way of New York City is seeking a Manager, Education & Workforce Pathways to lead day-to-day implementation of education and workforce programs. You will coordinate with schools, CBOs, corporate partners, and internal teams to advance equity and postsecondary access for NYC youth.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, strong project management, and grant reporting capabilities. A hybrid work arrangement is included, with travel across NYC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Sciences, or related field with 3+ years managing youth programs.
• Experience coordinating with multiple partners, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Strong grant management, reporting, and compliance experience; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day implementation of workforce development and education pathways programs serving primarily high school-aged youth.
• Translate program strategy into clear implementation plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Oversee grant requirements, performance goals, budgets, and quality standards.
• Build and manage relationships with NYC Public Schools, CBOs, corporate partners, and volunteers.
• Develop and deliver grant reports, funder updates, and program summaries.
• Track enrollment, attendance, partner performance, outcomes, and budgets.
