Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Western New York is seeking a strategic, relationship-focused Manager of Donation Acquisition to grow donated goods across the region. You will lead partnerships with businesses, schools, and community groups while developing new donation channels and a Mobile Donation Unit program.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, excellent communication, and strong project management. Travel throughout Western New York will be regular.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, fundraising, marketing, community engagement, partnership development, or a related field.

• Build and maintain relationships with businesses, schools, municipalities, healthcare organizations, nonprofit partners, and community groups.
• Identify new donation opportunities, partnerships, and collection channels.

• Research, pilot, and implement new donation acquisition initiatives.
• Analyze donation trends, market opportunities, and performance data to drive growth.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Partner with Retail Operations, Logistics, and Marketing to align donation acquisition activities with organizational needs.
• Represent Goodwill at community events, networking functions, and partnership meetings.

We are seeking a strategic, relationship-focused professional to serve as our Manager, Donation Acquisition. In this newly created role, you will lead efforts to increase the quantity, quality, and accessibility of donated goods across our territory. Through community partnerships, business development, outreach initiatives, and innovative donation programs, you will help ensure Goodwill has the resources needed to serve more people and strengthen communities throughout Western New York.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Compensation

• $75,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
