Job summary

Goodwill of Western New York seeks a strategic, relationship-focused Manager, Donation Acquisition to lead efforts across Western New York. You will identify growth opportunities, build partnerships, and drive data-informed decisions to expand donated goods.

You will collaborate with Retail Operations, Logistics, Marketing, and community partners to develop programs and channels, measure impact, and deliver measurable organizational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, fundraising, marketing, community engagement, partnership development, or a related field.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Western New York on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase donated goods throughout Western New York.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses, schools, municipalities, healthcare organizations, nonprofit partners, and community groups.
• Identify new donation opportunities, partnerships, and collection channels.
• Lead the planning and execution of Goodwill's Mobile Donation Unit program.
• Research, pilot, and implement new donation acquisition initiatives.
• Analyze donation trends, market opportunities, and performance data to drive growth.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Partner with Retail Operations, Logistics, and Marketing to align donation acquisition activities with organizational needs.
• Represent Goodwill at community events, networking functions, and partnership meetings.

We are seeking a strategic, relationship-focused professional to serve as our Manager, Donation Acquisition. In this newly created role, you will lead efforts to increase the quantity, quality, and accessibility of donated goods across our territory. Through community partnerships, business development, outreach initiatives, and innovative donation programs, you will help ensure Goodwill has the resources needed to serve more people and strengthen communities throughout Western New York.

What You'll Do

Compensation

• $75,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
