Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting our manufacturing client—a multinational leader in automatic machines—in their search for a Manager - Development & Management. In this role, you will support corporate HR strategy with a focus on employee development, talent management, and organizational growth. As a key member of the Management Team, you will partner across the local organization and with corporate HR to design and implement policies, programs, and practices that support our employees and business goals.

With a new plant underway in Tonawanda, NY, and significant investment in digital transformation, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and evolution. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on HR leader to help drive organizational success and support our growing workforce. We foster a collaborative, values-driven work environment committed to continuous improvement.

Salary range: $88,000 - $115,000

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a strategic HR partner to leadership and line managers, supporting organizational goals through proactive people initiatives.
  2. Manage the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding.
  3. Champion training and development programs focusing on leadership, succession planning, and employee retention.
  4. Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievances, and compliance with employment laws.
  5. Maintain and communicate HR policies and procedures relevant to the role.
  6. Conduct onboarding sessions and programs for new hires.
  7. Lead the transition to digital HR practices, including newly implemented HCM systems and HR dashboards; identify new tools to enhance data-driven HR decisions.
  8. Serve as the primary liaison between local operations and corporate HR to ensure cohesive policy and system implementation.
  9. Support ongoing transformation efforts related to employer branding, recruitment marketing, and HR digitalization.
  10. Provide daily support to line managers, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Minimum 5 years of HR or supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  3. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal labor and employment laws is a plus.
  4. Proven experience in organizational development, employee relations, and training program implementation.
  5. Digital mindset with a willingness to implement and manage modern HR technologies and systems.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  7. Ability to influence managers; leadership development experience is a plus.
  8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
