  • Monitor funded programs to ensure they effectively address patient needs and improve health outcomes
  • Coordinate with patient navigation programs to identify gaps in service and funding needs
  • Create and maintain relationships with prostate cancer support groups and advocacy organizations
  • In conjunction with the Measurement and Evaluation team, track and evaluate the impact of funded programs on patient care and quality of life
  • Ensure grant programs address health equity in prostate cancer care and support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, social work, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in healthcare-related grants management or patient support services
  • Understanding of prostate cancer patient needs and healthcare delivery systems
  • Experience working with healthcare providers and patient support organizations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in grants management software and healthcare databases
  • Deep understanding of prostate cancer patient needs and challenges
  • Sensitivity to medical, emotional, and financial challenges faced by patients
  • Ability to build relationships with healthcare providers and community partners
  • Strong data analysis and outcome measurement capabilities
  • Cultural competency in healthcare settings
  • Experience with patient education and support programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in public health or related field
  • Experience in oncology patient support services
  • Knowledge of healthcare navigation and advocacy
  • Background in health equity and disparities reduction
  • Previous work with cancer support organizations or healthcare nonprofits
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams/departments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant use of a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as computer printer, calculator, and copier.
  • Prolonged periods of a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • The ability to recognize details at close range for extended periods of time.
