***THIS IS A 6 MONTH FREELANCE CONTRACT***
Weekdays + Pacific Time Zone (Mon-Fri), Remote
Overall Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for helping grow a major tech community by monitoring conversation & engaging with UGC & comments across YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram/Threads.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
- Ongoing CM & Moderation: Implement community management strategy & best practices through ongoing moderation and engagement with owned comments, UGC & DMs
- Community Extensions: Propose opportunities to foster community interaction on content (i.e. pinned comments & polls) and amplify UGC (i.e. reseshares & stitches)
- Community Strategy Stewardship: Help maintain community management strategy & guidelines, in alignment with brand standards, social strategies and guidance
- Community Advocacy & Feedback: Be the voice of the community to stakeholders, sharing community sentiment updates & inspiring reactive content
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Approvals: Collaborate with internal teams and with agency partners to develop & execute community approaches for tentpole moments, launches, events and campaigns and seek approvals as needed
- CM Tracking: Support community management tracking, tagging & reporting
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in social media/channel management, community management, social copywriting or a related field for brands/products
- Deep understanding of social platforms, including best practices, formats & engagement tactics
- Experience developing brand responses aligned with brand standards and tone of voice, following brand safety and legal guidelines.
- Experience using social listening tools to identify relevant conversations for brands to engage in on social media.
- Experience in building and/or growing a strong and successful online community.
- Extensive knowledge of how to communicate directly with users via social media channels including directing and responding to questions, engaging in conversation, and connecting with relevant people, brands, and creators.
- Organizational skills to organize and publish high volume of content & CM, with high quality results
- Collaborative and able to work well x-functionally
- Experience with Sprinklr and native publishing to social media platforms
