Interior Logic Group, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Commercial Finance to deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic insights for a designated business unit. You will partner with business leaders to drive profitability, optimize resources, and support executive decision‑making.

The role emphasizes accurate forecasting, robust financial modeling, and timely cadence with senior management across the organization. A strong background in finance and GAAP is required for success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or related roles.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, updating senior management.
  • Monitor performance vs budgets and explain variances to leadership.
  • Ensure policies and GAAP compliance in financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Oversee payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Support investor meetings with prepared materials.

Job description

Summary The Manager of Commercial Finance is a key financial contributor responsible for providing financial reporting, performance analysis, and operational insights to the leadership of a designated business unit. This role collaborates closely with business unit leaders to drive profitability, execute financial strategies, deliver accurate forecasting, and optimize resource allocation. A successful candidate will provide reliable forecasts as well as valuable financial insights that inform business decisions and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business unit.

Essential Functions
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Develop and manage the company’s budgets and forecasts and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance compared to budgets and forecasts and communicate any variances to management.
  • Ensure appropriate accounting policies and procedures are in place and followed, including compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Help with the preparation of presentations and materials for investor meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience

Required Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in finance or combination of finance/operations roles. Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting and financial modeling. Adept use of Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI to extrapolate data and create meaningful reports for end users. Experience in the relevant industry or sector is often preferred, but not always required.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to build strong working relationships with others in the organization. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. High level of organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines. High level of accountability for quality of work. Attitude towards continuous improvement of the business and the department. Strong business acumen and customer service skills. High aptitude for flexibility and comfortable with change. Pay range: $120-$140K plus benefits
