Primary Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet the company's revenue goals
- Analyzing market trends and developments to identify new opportunities for growth
- Monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement
- Managing and developing the sales team to ensure maximum productivity and employee engagement
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Developing and implementing sales training programs for employees and store associates to ensure that representatives are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Creating sales reports and presenting them to senior management to provide insights and recommendations
- Developing and managing sales budget to ensure financial goals are met
- Responsible for analysis of day-to-day business and long-term operations
- Oversee all operations ensuring the necessary supplies and materials for each job is ordered
- Partner with business teams to confirm schedule is up to date and at capacity for the amount of Install teams are available
- Review all jobs with Sales Team, Design Team, Purchasing Team, and Scheduling Team to verify correct amount of material and manpower to execute the job
- Review, document, and design processes within the business to ensure high performance in service and financial soundness
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and functional business units inside the business to ensure success
- Conduct daily and weekly team meetings to ensure project deadlines and margin goals are met
- Primary point of contact for customer concerns, escalations, and liability claims
- Provide coaching and training to team to ensure all job documents are complete and accurate
Job Requirements:
- Strong technical skills and the ability to leverage technology in work processes
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Maintains professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreement between parties with different perspectives
- Adept organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
- Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
- Excellent managerial, supervisory, and/or leadership skills; able to develop and motivate others
- Strong strategic thinking and demonstrated success creating and implementing plans in high‑growth, dynamic environments
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- Microsoft Office suite experience and advanced Excel
- Minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- P&L responsibility
- Successful history in managing branch operations and proven history as a team leader
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates and co‑workers
- Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision‑making process, and makes timely decisions
- Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
- Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, and order processing systems
- Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or a related field 10+ years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the interior construction industry Residential Kitchen Design remodeling: 3 years (Preferred) Project Management: 3 years (Preferred)
