Manager - Business Development - AMR/AGV - Robotics - Automation
Primary responsibility is to lead and grow our channel partner network. The role holder will be responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing relationships with channel partners to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Channel Development Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive channel partner strategy to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand the company’s market presence.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner enquiries, escalations, and support.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Sales Enablement
- Provide partners with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively sell and promote the company’s products/services.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop partner-specific marketing campaigns and collateral.
- Ensure partners are up to date with product knowledge, pricing, and other relevant information.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for channel partners.
- Track and report on partner performance, including sales metrics, pipeline development, and revenue growth.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Management on channel performance and strategic initiatives.
- Conflict Resolution & Problem Solving
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise with channel partners.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, and support) to ensure partner satisfaction and success.
- Compliance & Contract Management
- Ensure all channel partner agreements and contracts are up-to-date and compliant with Company policies.
- Negotiate and finalize partner agreements, including terms, conditions, and pricing.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development in the robotics industry.
- Strong business acumen
- Strong understanding of channel partner dynamics and sales processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
