The job duties of the Automotive Service Manager include:

• Manage and direct all service department activities of a Big O Tires retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services.
• Develop and lead a team of general service technicians who exemplify the highest standards of quality and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to automotive services.
• Explain service recommendations and options clearly to customers.
• Supervise repair and maintenance quality to ensure high standards.
• Assist in staffing responsibilities during shortages.
• Assess the skills and abilities of applicants for auto repair positions.
