Job Description

The Automotive Service Manager, reporting to the Store Manager, will uphold the highest standards of service and embody our core values. Responsibilities include creating a motivated team environment, working closely with the Service Team to enhance performance, developing and coaching team members, and executing store processes and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Supporting the store recruiting process and assisting in final employment decisions
• Supervising technicians and service personnel, planning, scheduling, and overseeing their work
• Coaching team members on operational procedures and service standards within the ISI systems
• Interacting directly with customers regarding sales, service, and adjustments
• Evaluating performance and productivity of service department staff
• Managing parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Maintaining store safety and equipment layout
• Supervising shop area and ensuring safety procedures are followed
• Enforcing proper wheel torqueing processes and conducting inspections

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven experience as a Service Manager (minimum 2 years)
• Track record of exceeding business objectives
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and MSDS compliance
