Port of Long Beach seeks a Manager of Digital Innovation to lead an enterprise-wide digital and process strategy, shaping how new technologies are designed and scaled. This role champions practical, human-centered AI and emerging tech to boost efficiency and stakeholder value.

Reporting to the CIO, you will manage digital portfolios, collaborate across IM functions, and drive POCs to accelerate innovation while aligning with the Port’s evolving needs and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience with AI applications to enhance human productivity and data-driven decision making.
• Understanding emerging tech trends: process automation, asset tracking, digital modeling.
• ITIL-based service management knowledge and capacity planning.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Power BI and related tools.
• Experience with portfolio management tools and enterprise programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of an enterprise-wide digital and process strategy.
• Define requirements for digital solutions and communicate to stakeholders.
• Manage delivery of enterprise-wide digital portfolios with governance and business alignment.
• Drive Proofs of Concepts and evaluate new technologies for practical use.
