Location:

Manage the day-to-day activities of the Oxford Life treasury department, including treasury operations, cash management, and accounts payable.

1. Oversee cash management initiatives, bank relationships, and daily treasury operations.
2. Maintain, cultivate, and negotiate banking relationships.
3. Supervise daily cash management allocation and short-term investments; develop and implement operational strategies.
4. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash receipts and disbursements, including DTCC transactional activity.
5. Supervise accounts payable to ensure efficient handling of disbursements and compliance with cash controls.
6. Review monthly cash activity, transactional entries into the general ledger, and prepare reports for management.
7. Oversee monthly bank account reconciliations.
8. Develop strategies to maximize efficiency, safeguard assets, and reduce costs.
9. Assess available products, services, technologies, and systems for the Treasury department.
10. Stay informed on regulatory changes (NACHA, FINCEN, AML, US Patriot Act) to ensure compliance.
11. Strive to improve customer service and communication, emphasizing automation and technology use.
12. Build a high-performing team through leadership, training, motivation, and discipline.
13. Coordinate with auditors and support information requirements.
14. Serve as a departmental contact for cross-functional projects; promote financial education and teamwork.
15. Perform additional managerial duties as assigned by the CFO.

Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years' experience, preferably in financial services or insurance industry
• Management oversight of treasury functions and regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of risk management and banking relationships
• Managerial experience with analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with treasury banking systems and financial software (e.g., JPMorgan Access, SAP, Microsoft Office)
