Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Oxford Life treasury department, including treasury operations, cash management, and accounts payable.
• Oversee cash management initiatives, bank relationships, and daily treasury operations.
• Maintain and negotiate banking relationships.
• Oversee cash management allocation and short-term investments; develop operational strategies.
• Ensure accurate reporting of cash receipts and disbursements, including DTCC activity.
• Supervise accounts payable, ensuring efficient cash disbursements and compliance with cash controls.
• Review transactional entries and prepare reports for management.
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly.
• Develop strategies to maximize efficiency, safeguard assets, and minimize costs.
• Assess available products, services, and systems for the treasury department.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes (NACHA, FINCEN, AML, Patriot Act) to ensure compliance.
• Enhance customer service and communication through automation and technology.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with effective leadership, training, and discipline.
• Coordinate with auditors and support cross-departmental projects.
• Perform additional managerial duties as assigned by the CFO.

Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years’ experience, preferably in financial services or insurance industry.
• Management experience in treasury functions and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and banking relationships.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with treasury banking systems and financial software such as JPMorgan Access, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
