Job summary

ShopMy in New York City is seeking a hands-on Manager, Accounting Operations to own accounts payable, expense programs and travel operations as the company scales.

You will help build procurement, partner with legal, people and IT to streamline processes, and leverage AI tools to automate and improve finance workflows while supporting month-end close and audits. The role offers remote options for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in finance operations, accounting background preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, and travel programs.
• Exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and processes.
• Comfortable building processes and finding creative solutions to problems.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools.
• Based in NYC or the Bay Area preferred; open to remote for the right candidate.

About the Role

As Manager, Accounting Operations at ShopMy, you'll own our AP, expense, and travel operations, and help us build out procurement as the company scales. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to bring order to a fast growing finance function, and who's genuinely excited to use AI tools to make that work better, not just faster.

Your Impact to the Role

What We're Looking For

• 4-6 years in finance operations, accounting, or a related field, accounting background preferred
• Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, and travel programs
• Experience with or exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and process
• Comfortable building processes and finding creative solutions to problems
• Genuine fluency with AI tools
• Based in NYC or the Bay Area preferred; open to remote for the right candidate

Bonus Points

• Experience standing up a procurement function from the ground up
• Background in a high growth technology or e-commerce company
• Familiarity with Zip, Ramp, or Navan

In compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is as shown.

New York Pay Range $115,000 - $135,000 USD
