Precision BioSciences is seeking a Manager of Accounting to oversee financial statement preparation, SEC reporting, and the close process.

Based in Durham, NC with a primarily remote setup, you will coordinate with external auditors, manage cash and treasury, oversee equity compensation plans, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across finance activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, GAAP expertise, and public company exposure; CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities:

lead consolidation of financial reports supporting 10-K, 10-Q, and SEC disclosures, manage month-end and year-end close activities, perform technical accounting analyses, and coordinate with external auditors; oversee cash management, treasury, and equity compensation plans; ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or business; 5+ years of general accounting experience (including 3+ in public accounting); strong GAAP knowledge, SEC reporting expertise, proficiency in NetSuite and Excel; ability to handle confidential information accurately.
