Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Manager of Absence Management Accommodation to lead the integrated accommodations program across the enterprise. You will oversee the Accommodations Specialist team, manage performance lifecycle, and ensure responses are compliant with FMLA, NJFLA, ADA/ADAAA, NJLAD, NJ Safe Act, and related laws while balancing a high‑quality employee experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible HR experience, with at least 5 years focused on accommodations.
Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience.
Knowledge of FMLA, NJFLA, ADA/ADAAA, NJLAD, NJ Safe Act, PWFA, PUMP, Workers' Compensation, and related laws.
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and influence leaders at all levels.
Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and HRIS systems of record.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership for the Absence Management Accommodations program.
Oversee the Accommodations Specialist team and manage the full performance lifecycle.
Collaborate with Sedgwick to implement policies and resolve issues.
Ensure compliant and positive employee experience in balance with organizational needs.
