Job summary

Subway is seeking a Manager in NY to lead restaurant operations. This full-time position offers an hourly compensation of $19.00 with guaranteed hours, plus benefits and opportunities to earn bonuses and tips.

You will oversee guest experiences, food preparation quality, safety protocols, and daily store performance, while training staff and coordinating local marketing efforts. This role requires leadership, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in supervising and training staff is preferred (stated as 2 years in a restaurant environment).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent guest experience.
• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served.
• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful.
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed; aware of local and national health and food safety codes.
• Managing inventory and money control systems.
• Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach.
• Recruiting staff.
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales.
• Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales.
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready for new marketing windows.
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security.

• A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
