Job summary

Subway is seeking a Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring great food is prepared and served. The role covers restaurant maintenance, inventory and money control, and coordination of local marketing initiatives with a focus on community outreach.

In addition to management duties, you will recruit and reward outstanding team members, enforce safety protocols, analyze records to drive sales, and plan events and promotions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, supervising and training staff.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge is essential.

• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including awareness of local and national health and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales

Job description

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things:

• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

Pay

Depends on experience

From $12 hour plus bonus up to $750 weekly on salary plus bonus

Health Benefit

Health Insurance available 90 days - 1 year depending on potions hired in.

Vacation (1-3 weeks), Muli-use (40 hours) and Holiday pay 2 to 5 holidays -

depends on position and length of time with company

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience

A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
