Job summary

Subway Texas is seeking a Manager to lead daily operations, deliver an excellent guest experience, ensure quality food preparation, keep the restaurant clean and functional, and manage inventory and money controls.

The role involves recruiting and developing team members, enforcing safety and security standards, analyzing business records to boost sales, coordinating local marketing, and planning events and promotions.

Full-time or part-time shifts, training provided, compensation discussed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a restaurant environment, supervising/training staff.
• Excellent communication with ability to interact with all team levels.
• Must be able to operate POS system and perform typical restaurant tasks.

Job description

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things:

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Recruiting and rewarding outstanding Team members
• Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
• Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
• Identifying and contacting prospective Guests to promote sales
• Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
• Planning special events and promotions

Pay

Depends on experience

From $12 hour plus bonus up to $750 weekly on salary plus bonus

Health Benefit

Health Insurance available 90 days - 1 year depending on potions hired in.

Vacation (1-3 weeks), Muli-use (40 hours) and Holiday pay 2 to 5 holidays -

depends on position and length of time with company

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

Experience

A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
