Job summary

XTRA Lease, Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee in Stockton, CA. You will learn to manage a rental facility, develop leadership skills, and support customer service, fleet management, and vendor relations as you progress toward operations or sales leadership.

Over 1–3 years you’ll gain hands-on experience, with travel to other branches for orientation and cross-training opportunities. A strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork drives development into higher roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or 4 years of equivalent relevant experience in customer-facing rental operations or outside sales.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers and determine equipment needs; explain trailer rental options.
• Inspect trailers using a handheld device; identify damage or problems.
• Manage customer accounts including credit and collections.
• Verify customer insurance coverage.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and mechanics.
• Use technology to perform inventories and other operational tasks.
