Job summary

GPAC is seeking an employment law associate or lateral attorney for its Fort Worth office to counsel and defend employers across North Texas.

You will advise on workplace policies, compliance, hiring, discipline and terminations, defend clients in employment litigation and agency charges, and draft employment agreements, handbooks and separation documents. The position is full‑time and in‑office in Fort Worth, with a culture of sound judgment, steady counsel, and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Management-side employment law experience; associate and lateral candidates considered.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas.
• Strong research, writing, and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on workplace policies, compliance, hiring, discipline, and terminations.
• Defend clients in employment litigation and agency charges.
• Draft employment agreements, handbooks, and separation documents.
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
