Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP in Dallas seeks a Labor & Employment Associate with 4–5 years of strong employment litigation experience. You will advise clients on wage/hour issues, non‑compete matters, and related agreements while representing employers in courts and before agencies.

You will draft employment documents, assist investigations, and prepare memoranda, collaborating closely with partners and junior associates in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of substantive and substantial employment litigation experience.
• Experience providing advice and counsel on employment matters.
• Experience with wage/hour compliance and defense, non-compete, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements.
• Experience representing employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies.
• Experience drafting position statements, settlement agreements, employment agreements, and independent contractor agreements.
• Ability to assist with investigations, witness interviews, and provide detailed written memorandums.
• Superior academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Texas licensure required.
