Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is seeking a Management Liability Claims Specialist who can operate from any IAT location with a hybrid schedule. You will handle EPL, D&O, fiduciary, and crime claims for private and nonprofit clients, analyzing coverage and directing defense counsel as needed.

The role requires strong negotiation, litigation experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Expect a compensation package with base pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of management liability claims experience (including EPL, D&O, Fiduciary liability) or equivalent.
• Equivalent experience defined as 9+ years of relevant claims experience, specifically with litigation.
• Excellent coverage analysis skills with experience drafting coverage position correspondence.
• Experience handling litigated files and directing defense counsel.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Must be willing to travel, average 1 day a month.
• Claims Licensure as required by respective state(s).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Handle Management Liability Claims (EPL, D&O, Fiduciary, Crime) for Private and Non-Profit entities.
• Analyze, investigate, negotiate and resolve all levels of claims within authority.
• Manage defense counsel including budgets and strategy.
• Attend mediations, settlements, trials and prepare loss reports.
• Verify coverage and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support partners on claim and underwriting related issues as needed.
