Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is seeking a Management Liability Claims Specialist who can be located at any IAT office. The role offers a hybrid schedule, with in‑office work Monday through Wednesday and the option to work remotely Thursday and Friday.

You will handle EPL, D&O, fiduciary and crime claims for private and nonprofit clients, analyze coverage, coordinate defense counsel, and report loss development to leadership. Travel is modest, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies base salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of management liability claims experience or equivalent experience.
• Strong coverage analysis and drafting coverage position letters.
• Experience handling litigated files and directing defense counsel.
• Excellent negotiation, oral and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel approximately 1 day per month.

Responsibilities

• Handle Management Liability Claims (EPL, D&O, Fiduciary, Crime) for Private and Non-Profit clients.
• Analyze, investigate, negotiate and resolve claims within authority limits.
• Coordinate defense counsel and manage budgets.
• Develop litigation strategy and participate in mediations and trials.
• Verify coverage and prepare loss/expense reports for management.
