Job summary

United States Fleet Forces Command seeks a knowledgeable professional at the GS-13 level to serve as a recognized SME in military and civilian MPTE, advising on strategic operations and coordinating manning solutions across the command.

The role demands experience analyzing manpower data and providing authoritative policy guidance to senior leadership, while collaborating with external agencies to resolve complex administrative challenges.

Qualifications

  • Experience at or equivalent to GS-12 grade level or pay band in Federal service or equivalent experience in private/public sector.
  • Recognized SME and technical authority in military and civilian manpower, personnel, training, and equipping (MPTE).
  • Advising in central development, planning, and execution of strategic operations.
  • Integrating multiple manning solutions to achieve broader command mission goals.
  • Analyzing complex manpower data to provide actionable policy recommendations and authoritative advice to senior leadership.

Job description

GS-13 - $108,019 - $140,426

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience performing as a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical authority in military and civilian manpower, personnel, training, and equipping (MPTE).
  • Experience advising in the central development, planning, and execution of strategic operations.
  • Experience integrating multiple manning solutions to achieve broader command mission goals.
  • Experience analyzing complex manpower data to provide actionable policy recommendations and authoritative advice to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing command administration functions and successfully interacting with external organizations and agencies to resolve complex manning and administrative issues.
