Job summary

Amelex is seeking an experienced professional to support project management planning and analytics in alignment with organizational goals. The role includes IBPES planning, procurement tracking, and training management, with active involvement in Confluence/Jira environments.

Applicants should have a strong background in engineering/science management, operations research, and Navy programs, plus familiarity with ERP and PM software. A Secret or higher clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field from an accredited institution.
• Seven years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research, analysis, or financial/cost analysis.
• Three years of experience in US Navy programs or operations.

Responsibilities

• Support project management planning and analysis aligned with goals.
• Input data for IBPES subtask planning and develop full plans with guidance.
• Support monthly NWA assignment process per guidance and plans.
• Assist with procurement tracking by gathering quotes and IBPES requests.
• Attend technical meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes and reports.

• Contribute to Confluence/Jira environment and update goals to align with plans.
• Review PM tools and practices to recommend improvements using data-driven insights.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of project management planning and analytical functions in alignment with organizational goals and strategic direction
• Assist with Integrated Budget Planning and Execution System IBPES subtask planning by inputting provided data and progressively developing full plans with guidance
• Support the monthly Network and Activity NWA assignment process in accordance with tasking guidance and established plans
• Assist with procurement management by gathering quotes submitting IBPES requests and maintaining procurement tracking tools
• Attend technical meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes review contractor and On Site Installation Coordinator OSIC trip reports for proper formatting and distribution
• Support technical training management by assessing team capabilities identifying training needs researching training opportunities and tracking completion
• Contribute to the development enhancement and ongoing management of the ConfluenceJira project management environment and assist in updating project goals to ensure alignment with evolving command level strategic plans
• Review project management tools and practices to recommend improvements while collecting analyzing and interpreting information to define problems evaluate relevant data and develop actionable recommendations for the Government This position requires an understanding of organizational structures intergovernmental relationships and internal culture with findings communicated through written reports and oral presentations

Education

• Bachelors degree in a business or technical field from an accredited institution as recognized by the US Department of Education

Experience

• Seven 7 years of experience in engineeringscience management operations research analysis or financialcost analysis
• Three 3 years of experience in US Navy programs or operations

Knowledge

• Knowledge of various software and systems is highly beneficial but not required including ERP IBPES SharePoint ConfluenceJira Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Project or comparable project management tools

Other

• An Active Secret Security Clearance is required
