Job summary

Amelex is seeking a seasoned program/project manager to assist the government in strategic analysis, planning, and execution of multiple development projects. You will support development processes, monitor risks and schedules, and help draft SOPs and essential project documents.

The role requires strong experience in program management, a Secret clearance, and proficiency with PM tools like MS Project. You will contribute to milestone planning and cost control for complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional program/project management experience.
• Two years managing business operations tasks.
• Five years specialized program/project management experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the government in strategic analysis planning and execution of solutions for multiple concurrent development projects.
• Support all aspects of project development and execution including organizing and monitoring project risks and schedules.
• Develop and modify SOPs, reports, and plans to ensure content accuracy and relevancy based on changing requirements.
• Assist in establishing and controlling technical milestones, resources, schedules, budgets, and costs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the government in strategic analysis planning execution of solutions managing scope and schedule for multiple concurrent development projects
• Support all aspects of project development and execution developing organizing and monitoring of both project risks and schedules
• Provide the awareness required to identify business best practices to include tools andor Standard Operating Procedures SOP modifications or development based on changing requirements and review modify or compose project andor program documentation ie reports plans or SOPs to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content
• Assist in the establishment and control of technical milestones resources short and long range plans schedules budgets and costs

Education

BABS in a business engineering or technical discipline from an accredited institution as recognized by the US Department of Education

Experience

• Ten 10 years of professional experience in programproject management
• Two 2 years of which provided experience managing business operations tasking
• Five 5 years specialized experience performing programproject management in a wide variety of project functions to include
• Utilizing MS ProjectPreparing program and project plansDeveloping and tracking project budgetsDocumenting and tracking action items and assessing responses to ensure completion of actionsDemonstrated experience providing assessment of project execution to include cost schedules and risk Demonstrated experience with project management planning and execution tools

An Active Secret Security Clearance is required

Allowable Substitution

• A Project Management Institute Certification PMI as a Project Management Professional PMP may be substituted for three 3 years of work experience
• Other Project Management Professional PMP Certification is preferred
