THE POSITION

Management Analyst 2 position with the Bureau of Central Operation offers a chance to support important programs across the Commonwealth. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports quality assurance procedures and monitoring activities for agreements, grants, and contracts used to provide rehabilitation services. As a Management Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Agreement Monitoring: Review statewide contracts and grants and establish schedules for ongoing monitoring
• On-Site Assessment: Conduct visits, meetings, and evaluations of providers to review compliance and identify concerns
• Compliance Review: Analyze documents, gather data, determine corrective actions, and perform follow-up checks
• Process Improvement: Develop monitoring tools, evaluate provider performance, and recommend improvements
• Financial Analysis: Examine financial reports, audit findings, and cost allocation documents to assess accountability
• Reporting Duties: Prepare analyses, summaries, and activity reports to support Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) operations and decision-making

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment
• This position covers the Central and Eastern Regions in Pennsylvania.
• Work hours are negotiable, Monday - Friday, with a 30 or 60-minute lunch depending on selected work hours. Alternate work schedule (AWS) may be available.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time upon completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
• Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $60,538.00 (before taxes).

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
