Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License – TMB
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience
• Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA – 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions
• Must maintain patient‑first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
• Performs other work‑related duties as assigned

Work Location: Lewisville, Texas

Work Hours: PRN – Monday and Thursday with occasional Saturday

The Mammography Technologist operates x‑ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography‑related diagnostic procedures. The individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
