Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic breast imaging. The role emphasizes accurate positioning, exposure technique, and patient education within a team-focused environment in Prosper, TX.

The position offers full-time hours, a sign-on bonus up to $7,500, relocation assistance for qualified technologists, and a competitive benefits package. On-site work at 1000 N Preston Rd, Prosper, TX 75078.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) required.
• ARRT Mammography certification or eligibility required.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA CEU requirements: 15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and perform mammography-related diagnostic procedures with high accuracy in positioning and exposure.
• Educate patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and colleagues; provide excellent patient service.
• Maintain patient-first focus and uphold Solis Way in every interaction.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the department.

Work Hours

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (1-2 Saturday shifts required per month)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography‑related diagnostic procedures. The individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day In The Life Of a Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
• Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
• Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
• Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions
• Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned
