Job Description: Mammography Technologist PRN at Doctors Hospital of Augusta

Join our team as a Mammography Technologist PRN at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. This role involves operating mammography and radiology imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist physicians with procedures in a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams following protocol on various body parts efficiently.
• Complete pre-exam screening, greet patients, assist with gowns, fill out history forms, and stock supplies.
• Verify doctor’s orders, document in patient charts, and administer contrast media safely.
• Transport patients, move patients on/off exam tables, organize exams, and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiography program.
• ARRT registered with advanced registration in Mammography.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
