SimonMed Imaging seeks a Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis, with precision and compassionate patient care.

You will ensure accurate positioning, optimal compression, and image quality while adhering to MQSA, ACR, and HIPAA standards. The role emphasizes patient comfort, education, and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT Radiography (R) and ARRT Mammography (M) certifications.
• Maintain current state radiologic technologist license where required.
• Maintain current BLS, MQSA-mandated CEUs (15 every 3 years).
• Initial and ongoing tomosynthesis and digital training documented.
• 1+ year of mammography experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography including tomosynthesis in full compliance with ACR, MQSA, and facility protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review history, explain procedures clearly, and maintain patient comfort while preserving image quality.
• Document thoroughly; label images accurately; participate in QA and compliance activities.
• Manage workflow in a busy outpatient setting and adapt to schedule changes; maintain equipment.
• Provide hands-on mentorship to rotating students and contribute to clinical team culture.
